Moonboon Motor 2.0 has undergone a major update.
Tests performed by the Danish Technological Institute show that the Moonboon Motor 2.0 is 27 % quieter than other quality rocking motors. Set the cradle to rock for your desired time and adjust the speed to suit your child's needs and routines. Care
The hammock can be hand washed at 40 degrees.
The kapok mattress is not machine washable - air it outdoors once a month.
Baby hammocks are not suitable for children who can sit or kneel or pull themselves up. Please read the user manual before use. You can also read more about the product in our FAQ.
For baby, the sense of closeness is enhanced, sounds are dampened, and the rocking movements recall the time spent in utero. Children easily settle down in a hammock, and newborns in particular feel secure when they are put to bed in the softness of the organic fabric. I found this out myself when I had my son. That’s why I have spent a lot of time developing an ergonomically correct and safe hammock that supports the development of a child’s spine.
I believe in using sustainable materials to give you a pure, natural, and luxurious product. For that reason I’m proud, of course, that the Moonboon hammock is GOTS certified.
The hammock motor and the elegant tripod stand were designed especially for our hammock. You may use the hammock away from home: The stand is easily disassembled for taking along on vacations and visits with family, and attaching the motor takes no time at all.
It is very individual how children want to be rocked. The CE-marked Moonboon Motor 2.0 can therefore be set to rock your child for an unlimited time*, and you can even decide at what pace.
*For safety reasons, Motor 2.0 is installed with a safety function that automatically stops the motor after 12 hours.
The baby hammock from Moonboon has been tested against the European safety standard EN1130.
There is no metal touching metal in the mount on our baby hammock, which eliminates the risk of metal splinters or metal dust.
Follow these tips for safe use of your baby hammock:
· Always follow the user manual to ensure correct setup.
· Always use the original parts that came with your products.
· Always use an original mount from Moonboon: Hook, door frame clamp or tripod stand.
· Do not use the baby hammock as a swing.

Safe-sleep
We go to great lengths to keep your baby safe. The CE-marked motor has a built-in safety-function that automatically stops the motor if anyone or anything interferes with the hammock while it bounces. The spring comes with a safety-strap, and the carabiners are fitted with anti-friction parts.
