Washing
The hammock can be hand washed at 40 degrees.
The kapok mattress is not machine washable - air it outdoors once a month.
The fabric is pure organic cotton. The mattress is filled with kapok, a fiber that is 100% natural, and also hypoallergenic. The wooden cross pin at the top is made of dark walnut. We have not only made a baby hammock that adds a Scandinavian element to any home. We have also developed a sustainable, organic, and safe sleep solution recommended by midwives.
I have put a lot of energy into creating a safe, ergonomically designed baby hammock that supports the development of your baby’s spine in the best possible way. The motor gently bounces the baby hammock. This gives your baby the best sleeping solution imaginable.
The baby hammock from Moonboon is 90 cm long and can be used for newborns and children weighing up to 15 kg. The motor can be used from baby weighs 4 kg until baby weighs 20 kg.
It is very individual how children want to be rocked. The CE-marked Moonboon Motor 2.0 can therefore be set to rock your child for an unlimited time*, and you can even decide at what pace.
*For safety reasons, Motor 2.0 is installed with a safety function that automatically stops the motor after 12 hours.
The baby hammock from Moonboon has been tested against the European safety standard EN1130.
There is no metal touching metal in the mount on our baby hammock, which eliminates the risk of metal splinters or metal dust.
Follow these tips for safe use of your baby hammock:
· Always follow the user manual to ensure correct setup.
· Always use the original parts that came with your products.
· Always use an original mount from Moonboon: Hook, door frame clamp or tripod stand.
· Do not use the baby hammock as a swing.

We go to great lengths to keep your baby safe. The CE-marked motor has a built-in safety-function that automatically stops the motor if anyone or anything interferes with the hammock while it bounces. The spring comes with a safety-strap, and the carabiners are fitted with anti-friction parts.
