Our wide range of springs have been specifically designed for our baby hammocks and cradle, with each specially adapted to a specific weight range that will provide the optimum rocking motion for your baby to help them sleep better and for longer.

There is a difference in the weight of the products and also the children's weight from the cradle to twin baby hammock.

When used with cradle - child weight: 3-12 kg. When used with twin baby hammock - total weight of children 4-12 kg.

Spring + for cradle and twin baby hammock:
Moonboon's Spring + for cradle and twin baby hammock can be purchased if you have a larger child or wish to extend the life of the cradle and twin baby hammock.

When used with cradle - child weight: 12-20 kg twin baby hammock: children's combined weight 12-20 kg.

You have the right to return your order within 14 days of having received it. Returns are administered through our return portal. A small fee will be deducted for shipping when you use the portal for your return.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE SPRING

Yes, the baby hammock and cradle have different standard springs that they are delivered with, as the products have different weights. Therefore it is important to use the right spring with each product if you have both a cradle and hammock at home.

 

Yes, the spring cover can be machine washed at 40 degrees Celsius. We recommend washing it with similar colors. Do not use bleach.

 

The spring should not get rusty if you are using the baby hammock outside. However, we do not recommend leaving the spring outside in the rain for prolonged periods of time as this may lead to rust forming on the spring.

 

No, when you purchase a baby hammock or cradle from us, we will always deliver it with the matching and correct spring for that product. However, if you have purchased a hammock or cradle second hand or a few years ago and now want to use it with your next baby, we recommend that you purchase a new spring to ensure safe usage.

 

You should always use the spring that has been delivered with your product for that specific product, with the exception of the spring+ which can be used with our baby hammock, twin hammock, and cradle. Otherwise, each of these products will be delivered with a specific spring for that product to ensure safe and optimal use.

 

If you wish to use your baby hammock or cradle from Moonboon once your little one weighs more than 12 kg, you can purchase the spring+ so that you can continue using it up until a weight of 20 kg.

 

Yes, our springs get rigorously safety tested by engineers in Denmark to make sure that they are safe to use. Additionally, all Moonboon springs are fitted with a safety strap to ensure nothing will happen to your baby on the rare occasion that a spring may break.

 

All springs wear over time, and we encourage you to purchase a new spring if you acquired a used hammock or cradle.

Our motor is designed to work with the Moonboon spring, and we recommend that you purchase a Moonboon spring for use with your motor. This will ensure the best experience for the baby when it is time to visit dreamland.

The Spring for the Baby Hammock was designed to be used with our baby hammocks and is delivered with your baby hammock when you order one, whilst the spring for the cradle/twin baby hammock was designed for those products and is delivered with them.

The spring+ is a spring you can purchase if you wish to continue using your cradle/twin baby hammock beyond a weight of 12 kg of your child.

The spring is 30 cm / 11.8 inches with no load, and it will extend to 65 cm / 25.6 inches when fully extended.

Never fear that the spring will break. The Moonboon spring has a built-in safety strap that keeps the baby from falling.

 

Yes, all our springs are compatible with our cradle bouncers. Should you be using our cradle bouncer with a hammock from a different brand or manufacturer, we recommend that you also use our spring with the cradle bouncer, as this is how it has been tested to provide ideal functionality.
